\/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">A lo largo de mis a\u00f1os de trabajo en seguimiento facial, he observado una superstici\u00f3n entre ingenieros e investigadores seg\u00fan la cual no se pueden seguir los puntos de referencia faciales (rasgos como las cejas, los ojos y la boca) cuando quedan fuera de la vista de la c\u00e1mara. Esta creencia no es del todo cierta. No hace falta ver una ceja para saber si se levanta o se frunce, ni la nariz para saber si se arruga.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Nuestros rostros se abomban, estiran y arrugan de forma \u00fanica con cada acci\u00f3n facial. He utilizado estos cambios para entrenar etiquetadores que reconozcan y clasifiquen con precisi\u00f3n expresiones discretas a partir \u00fanicamente del movimiento de la piel. Con una documentaci\u00f3n bien dirigida, un amplio conjunto de ejemplos y una c\u00e1mara de alta calidad, se pueden extrapolar l\u00edmites de informaci\u00f3n con un FOV limitado.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">El FOV m\u00ednimo necesario para el seguimiento ocular suele ser suficiente para seguir un pu\u00f1ado de acciones. La vista A (en el conjunto de im\u00e1genes inferior) es la que mejor refleja el aspecto que puede tener una vista de seguimiento basada en la mirada. Aunque el objetivo principal de las c\u00e1maras de seguimiento ocular es cubrir lo suficiente del ojo para observar los cambios en la mirada, su potencial es mucho mayor. Incluso con esta vista concentrada, se pueden detectar <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">elevador del p\u00e1rpado superior <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(AU5), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(AU6), y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">tensor de tapa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> (AU7) con un grado de certeza relativamente alto. Estas acciones son \u00fatiles por sus aplicaciones en la medici\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n, las reacciones y el compromiso; tambi\u00e9n son se\u00f1ales cruciales en la comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Muchas personas se bloquean por nombres de unidades de acci\u00f3n como <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">y asumir, \"No podemos rastrear <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">porque nuestro FOV no cubre la zona de las mejillas\". Pero <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">es m\u00e1s de lo que revela su nombre; es una acci\u00f3n provocada por la contracci\u00f3n del orbicular de los ojos, un m\u00fasculo que rodea la zona ocular. Aunque los movimientos del orbicular afectan a las mejillas, en realidad se producen muchos cambios en la zona de la cuenca del ojo. Siempre que tenga una visi\u00f3n marginal de las comisuras de los ojos o un trozo de piel bajo el p\u00e1rpado inferior, podr\u00e1 determinar si <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> est\u00e1 ocurriendo. Conceptos similares se aplican a las otras acciones que he enumerado en las im\u00e1genes siguientes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 500;\">Capacidades con distintos FOV<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este gr\u00e1fico muestra qu\u00e9 unidades de acci\u00f3n (UA) es posible detectar con distintos campos de visi\u00f3n. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Tenga en cuenta que esto es un desglose abreviado de lo que puede o no ser posible con diferentes FOVs.
