\/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">A lo largo de mis a\u00f1os de trabajo en el seguimiento de rostros, he observado una superstici\u00f3n entre los ingenieros e investigadores de que no se pueden seguir los puntos de referencia faciales (rasgos como las cejas, los ojos y la boca) cuando caen fuera de la vista de la c\u00e1mara. Esta creencia no es del todo cierta. No hace falta ver una ceja para saber si se levanta o se frunce, y no hace falta ver la nariz para saber cu\u00e1ndo se arruga.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Nuestros rostros se abultan, estiran y arrugan de manera \u00fanica con cada acci\u00f3n facial. He usado estos cambios para entrenar a los etiquetadores a reconocer y clasificar con precisi\u00f3n las expresiones discretas del movimiento de la piel solamente. Con una documentaci\u00f3n bien dirigida, un conjunto completo de ejemplos y una c\u00e1mara de alta calidad, se pueden extrapolar los l\u00edmites de la informaci\u00f3n con un FOV limitado.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">El m\u00ednimo FOV requerido para el seguimiento de los ojos es a menudo suficiente para rastrear un pu\u00f1ado de acciones. La vista A (en la imagen que se muestra a continuaci\u00f3n) es la que mejor refleja c\u00f3mo puede ser la vista de un rastreador basado en la mirada. Aunque el objetivo principal de las c\u00e1maras de seguimiento ocular es cubrir lo suficiente del ojo para observar los cambios de la mirada, su potencial es mucho mayor. Incluso con esta vista concentrada, todav\u00eda se puede detectar <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">elevador de la tapa superior <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(AU5), <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">(AU6), y <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Tapa de cierre<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> (AU7) con un grado de certeza relativamente alto. Estas acciones son \u00fatiles por sus aplicaciones en la medici\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n, las reacciones y el compromiso; tambi\u00e9n son se\u00f1ales cruciales en la comunicaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Mucha gente se bloquea con nombres de unidades de acci\u00f3n como <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">y asumir, \"No podemos rastrear <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">...porque nuestro FOV no cubre el \u00e1rea de la mejilla\". Pero <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">es m\u00e1s de lo que su nombre revela; es una acci\u00f3n causada por la contracci\u00f3n del orbicular de los ojos, un m\u00fasculo que rodea la zona del ojo. Aunque los movimientos del orbicularis oculi repercuten en las mejillas, muchos cambios se producen en realidad en la zona de la cuenca del ojo. Siempre que tenga una visi\u00f3n marginal de las esquinas de los ojos o un trozo de piel bajo el p\u00e1rpado inferior, podr\u00e1 determinar si <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">levantador de mejillas<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\"> est\u00e1 ocurriendo. Conceptos similares se aplican a las otras acciones que he enumerado en las im\u00e1genes de abajo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h2><span style=\"font-weight: 500;\">Capacidades con diferentes FOVs<\/span><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este gr\u00e1fico muestra qu\u00e9 unidades de acci\u00f3n (UA) son posibles de detectar con varios campos de visi\u00f3n. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Tenga en cuenta que esto es un desglose abreviado de lo que puede o no puede ser posible con diferentes FOVs.
